The Duchess of Sussex attended a Los Angeles Children’s Hospital gala alone last night, but her two children, Archie and Lilibet, were never far from her thoughts. While taking the night off from parenting, the Duchess of Sussex shared some special reflections with the families she met at the gala, talking about her children.
Meghan was stunning in a striking red Carolina Herrera dress on the red carpet. He had gone on a solo trip to Africa, where he continued in his charitable pursuits. He attended the WellChild awards in London during the earlier part of the week, and then he made a surprise trip to Lesotho, which is his charity, Sentebale. His work on behalf of vulnerable children in Africa is close to his heart, judging from the smile on his face during his tour solo. While he was not together with Harry, Meghan’s solo appearance demonstrated her strength and confidence to take on any public role. For the last few years, the duke and duchess have been increasingly taking separate engagements, but this cannot be taken to mean that the relationships have weakened in terms of mutual support.
