Eamonn Holmes, 64, Seen in Mobility Scooter as He Prepares for Romantic Cruise with Much Younger Partner, 42

GB News host Eamonn Holmes has been spotted ahead of his romantic Mediterranean cruise with partner Katie Alexander, who is 22 years his junior. The couple was spotted upon arrival at the Spanish port in Barcelona, while Holmes used a mobility scooter to get around. Katie, 42, was by his side, and cut a stylish figure in a striped jumper and khaki chinos teamed with perspex heels as the pair stopped for a brief moment to speak before carrying on through the airport.

The relationship between Eamonn and Katie made headlines earlier this year when he moved out of his home following his split from longtime partner Ruth Langsford. The romance of the couple had been taken to the higher degree when some sneaky texts between Eamonn and another woman came to the fore. The very public breakup with Ruth after 14 years of marriage really sent shockwaves, but Eamonn has since been enjoying his time with Katie.

The Mediterranean cruise was just the latest sign of how close the couple has become, with sources saying Katie thinks they are “for keeps.” Eamonn seems to have been given a new lease on life with Katie, and those close to his ex-wife Ruth were said to be “gobsmacked” by the lavish trip.

The romantic break is not the first for the couple, as they had visited Belfast together. The closeness of the couple has raised speculation on their possible engagement, especially after Katie was spotted wearing a ring on her finger. Whether wedding bells would ring for them in the future or not, one thing is certain: Eamonn and Katie are having the time of their lives, with this cruise in pure luxury being another chapter of their relationship.

Many have been surprised by the new-found energy and spring in the step of Eamonn, but it would seem for now that the television personality is enjoying each and every moment of his life, with his younger partner by his side.
