The incomparable Eras Tour of Taylor Swift went out with a bang at Warsaw after the singer performed her third and last sold-out show on 3 August at the PGE Narodowy stadium.
At her final performance in the Polish capital, Swift, 34, could barely contain her elation when she shared that milestone moment with her fans. In a video shared to TikTok, the pop icon told the crowd, “I’m in a really good mood tonight. And I just thought I would tell you. it is because of something that you did. you made us, the Eras Tour, the very first tour to ever play three sold-out nights in this stadium!” She then did a little jig as the audience erupted into cheers.
While she was already cheerful, having performed two previous nights in Warsaw, this final show left her especially moved. “I was already in a great mood because we’ve been lucky enough to play here two nights before tonight. And I have to be honest with you, Warsaw, you have exceeded any dream I could have had for how amazing a crowd could be,” Swift shared in another video clip.
The last night in Warsaw was special not only for her; it was also her very first headlining concert in Poland, which kicked off on August 1. Special surprises included a piano mashup for “The Black Dog” by The Tortured Poets Department and “exile,” a folklore track featuring Bon Iver.
Swift surprised the audience by pronouncing a few Polish words and expressions like “warszawa, witajcie na Eras Tour” (“welcome to the Eras Tour”), “kocham was” (“I love you”), “dziękjię” (“thank you”), and “wszystko dobrze” (“all good?”).
To spice things up a little more, Swift appeared in a fresh promotional video for NBC Olympics that dropped on the same day as her final Warsaw performance. She sings Team USA medal winners Simone Biles, Sha’Carri Richardson, and Katie Ledecky to the tune of her hit song “Style” playing in the background. “Never be afraid to show them who you are, especially when the whole world is watching,” Swift narrates, celebrating the achievements of the three athletes.
On the other hand, Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour is in full bloom, and her fans in Warsaw have been treated to a chapter not reproducible in her career.
