Zara McDermott’s boyfriend, Sam Thompson, has distanced himself from Graziano Di Prima following the latter’s dismissal from Strictly Come Dancing. The 30-year-old professional dancer is accused of kicking and spitting at Zara, 27, during heated rehearsals. The BBC acted swiftly after reviewing video evidence of the incident.
The fallout has seen Zara and Sam, a former Made In Chelsea star, sever their social media connections with Graziano. Although Zara has not publicly commented on the incident, she has clearly distanced herself from Graziano on social media. Following her lead, Sam, 31, has also unfollowed the dancer on Instagram.
Despite the controversy, Sam appeared in good spirits on the Love Island spin-off show Aftersun on Sunday, showing his support for Zara during this challenging time. The accusations against Graziano surfaced recently, shedding light on troubling events that allegedly took place during their time on the show last year.
