Sabrina Carpenter Makes UK Chart History with Summer Smash Hits

Sabrina Carpenter, the American songstress who’s soundtracked many a summer vibe this year, has etched her name in UK chart history, according to the Official Charts Company. The Pennsylvania native has become the undisputed queen of the charts, achieving a feat no other female artist has before – holding both the number one and number two spots for a whopping three weeks in a row!

Her latest single, “Please Please Please,” continues its reign at the top, while her earlier hit, “Espresso,” remains a firm favorite at number two. This chart dominance even rivaled The Beatles, who managed the same double act twice back in the 60s. More recently, pop titans Justin Bieber and Ed Sheeran held the top two positions for four and five weeks, respectively.

Interestingly, “Espresso” actually racked up slightly more streams (7.1 million) than “Please Please Please” (7 million) this past week. But hey, both tunes are guaranteed to get your head bopping, and they’ll be gracing Carpenter’s upcoming album, “Short ‘n Sweet,” dropping in August.

Carpenter isn’t the only one making waves on the charts. Missouri singer Chappell Roan landed her first top five hit with the catchy “Good Luck, Babe!” climbing to number four. But the spotlight this week belongs to Sabrina Carpenter, who’s not only dominating the airwaves but also smashing UK chart records.
