Pixies Reveal New Album, Share Single “Chicken”

The Pixies are set to release their ninth studio album, The Night the Zombies Came, on October 25 via BMG. This follow-up to 2022’s Doggerel was produced by Tom Dalgety at Guilford Sound studio in Vermont. Notably, it features the band’s first British member, bassist Emma Richardson from Band Of Skulls.

Described as their most “cinematic” work, the album weaves interconnected fragments across its tracks, creating a cohesive narrative. Frontman Black Francis likens the collection to a movie, with each song contributing to the overall story.
