Little Mix star Perrie Edwards has candidly shared her pain over the end of her friendship with former bandmate Jesy Nelson.
Nelson left the group in 2020, citing the toll it took on her mental health. Her struggles were also documented in the BBC documentary, Jesy Nelson: Odd One Out. Last year, Nelson revealed she hadn’t spoken to her former bandmates in years.
In a recent interview, Edwards described the split as “heartbreaking.” While admitting that friendships sometimes end, she expressed a wish for a different outcome. “I would rather it went differently,” she said.
The singer also hinted at a new song that’s been particularly difficult for her to listen to, suggesting it might be about the friendship’s end.
