Jadon Sancho is reportedly on the brink of agreeing to personal terms with Paris Saint-Germain. The Manchester United winger recently returned to the field after nearly a year, making an appearance in a friendly match against Rangers.
Sources from L’Equipe suggest that Sancho could soon be heading to the French capital. This development comes after Sancho spent the latter part of last season on loan at Borussia Dortmund, where he made a significant impact.
Following his stint in Germany, there was speculation that Sancho might get another chance to shine at Manchester United. The 24-year-old featured in United’s recent friendly victory over Rangers, marking his first appearance for the club in almost a year.
Sancho’s return to the United squad follows a reconciliation with manager Erik ten Hag, who had previously sidelined him due to unsatisfactory training performances. Ten Hag expressed optimism that Sancho could now play a crucial role for the team. In an interview with AD, ten Hag stated, “We had a good conversation. PSG, aiming to strengthen their squad following Kylian Mbappe’s move to Real Madrid, sees Sancho as a valuable addition. Since his £73 million transfer from Dortmund to United in 2021, Sancho has made 82 appearances, scoring 12 goals and providing six assists.
