Glastonbury organizer Emily Eavis has already begun discussions with potential acts for the 2025 festival, ensuring an exciting lineup for fans. This announcement comes as the current festival wraps up, featuring R&B star SZA and Canadian pop sensation Shania Twain, who will grace the Legends slot.
Eavis shared with the Glastonbury Free Press that the festival will take a break in 2026 to allow the land to recover. She mentioned, “Planning the festival before a fallow year is always a unique challenge because it feels like you need to pack two years into one. We’re already talking to some acts for it, which is really exciting.”
Shania Twain, at 58, has embraced the festival’s spirit, heightening anticipation for her debut on the Pyramid Stage. Eavis commented, “The excitement for her performance is electric.”
She also emphasized the festival’s unique atmosphere, describing it as a place where people can come together, rediscover common ground, and restore their faith in humanity.
Sunday’s weather is expected to be pleasant, with sunny spells and some clouds. The Met Office predicts a fine afternoon with temperatures reaching up to 19°C, staying dry in the evening with lows around 10°C to 11°C. Monday might see some light rain in the morning, but a bright afternoon is expected.
To close this year’s festival, American soul singer SZA will perform her headline set at 9:30 PM, promising a memorable end to the event.
