Take-Two Interactive, the parent company behind the iconic Grand Theft Auto (GTA) series developed by Rockstar Games, has unveiled details about the highly anticipated GTA 6 release date. As per a report from The Verge, Take-Two revealed during its quarterly earnings call that the next installment in the GTA franchise is slated for a launch in the “fall of 2025.”

The company’s statement highlighted the narrowing of the release window from “Calendar 2025” to the specific timeframe of “Fall of Calendar 2025.”
Take-Two emphasized its high expectations for the commercial success of GTA 6, building upon the monumental achievements of its predecessor, GTA 5. The company revealed that GTA 5, released in 2013, has surpassed 200 million units in sales to date, solidifying its position as the second best-selling title in history, trailing only behind Microsoft’s Minecraft.
