In a recent report from The Wall Street Journal, it has been alleged that associates and business partners of Elon Musk are compelled to engage in drug use to maintain their proximity to the tech mogul. Board members and directors of Musk’s companies, including Tesla and SpaceX, are reportedly participating in or facilitating his substance use due to peer pressure.
The report suggests that Elon Musk has been observed consuming ketamine and liquid ecstasy at various social gatherings. Notable figures such as venture capitalists Gracias and Ira Ehrenpreis, tech mogul Larry Ellison, former media executive James Murdoch, and even Musk’s brother, Kimbal Musk, are said to have indulged in drug use at events associated with the entrepreneur.
According to sources, Musk has been spotted using ketamine recreationally at the upscale Austin Proper Hotel during social gatherings with Tesla board member Joe Gebbia, the co-founder of Airbnb. Additionally, Musk and his inner circle, including Kimbal Musk, are reported to attend parties at Hotel El Ganzo in San José del Cabo, Mexico, known for its vibrant art and music scene as well as drug-fueled events.
The report highlights the fear among Musk’s business associates that refusing drugs could result in losing social status and wealth, thus compelling them to partake in these activities to avoid upsetting the billionaire entrepreneur.
Despite awareness of Musk’s alleged illegal drug use, some current and former Tesla and SpaceX directors have refrained from taking public action. The report emphasizes that Musk’s drug use, including substances like cocaine, ecstasy, LSD, and magic mushrooms, violates anti-drug policies within his own companies.
This revelation raises questions about the dynamics within Musk’s business and social circles, shedding light on the extent to which individuals may compromise their principles to maintain proximity to a high-profile figure like Elon Musk.
