Katrina Kaif, the acclaimed Bollywood sensation, continues to captivate audiences with her stellar performances, and her latest venture, “Tiger 3,” is no exception. Released on November 12, 2023, this Indian Hindi-language action thriller, directed by Maneesh Sharma and produced by Aditya Chopra under Yash Raj Films, is making waves in the film industry.
Starring alongside Salman Khan and Emraan Hashmi, Katrina Kaif reprises her role in this sequel to the 2017 blockbuster “Tiger Zinda Hai.” The film is also the fifth installment in the YRF Spy Universe, unfolding after the events of “Tiger Zinda Hai” (2017), “War” (2019), and “Pathaan” (2023).
The extensive journey of creating “Tiger 3” began in March 2021, with filming locations spanning Delhi, Mumbai, Istanbul, Saint Petersburg, and Vienna. Pritam composed the film’s soundtrack, accompanied by Tanuj Tiku’s compelling background score. With an estimated budget of ₹300 crore, “Tiger 3” stands as the most expensive project from Yash Raj Films.
Upon its release, “Tiger 3” hit the screens in standard, IMAX, 4DX, and other premium formats, perfectly coinciding with Diwali celebrations. The film received a mixed-to-positive response from critics, who lauded the cast’s performances, particularly Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, and Emraan Hashmi. The action sequences and technical aspects garnered praise, though some critics pointed out shortcomings in the plot, soundtrack, and pace.
