They are Mitra, the god of friendship; Aryaman, the god of hospitality; Bhaga, the god of wealth; Daksha, the god of wisdom; Savitri, the god of the sun; Pushan, the god of nourishment; Amsa, the god of the moon; Vivasvan, the god of the day; Tvastar, the god of crafts; and Vishvakarman, the god of architecture. These gods are responsible for bringing light and knowledge to the world.
Finally, Indra and Prajāpati are the two gods who make up the thirty-three. Indra is the king of the gods and is responsible for bringing rain and thunderstorms. Prajāpati is the creator god and is responsible for the creation of the universe.
