Jesus is an important figure in Christianity, and is believed to be the son of God. He was born to two ordinary Jewish people called Mary and Joseph. Jesus was born in Bethlehem, in the region of Judea, and lived in Nazareth for most of his life.

At the age of 30, Jesus began his ministry, travelling around the country and teaching people about God. He was known for his kind and compassionate nature, and his teachings about love and respect for one another. Jesus performed many miracles during his lifetime, such as healing the sick and feeding the hungry.

Jesus was eventually arrested and put on trial for his teachings. He was sentenced to death by crucifixion, and died on the cross. However, Christians believe that three days after his death, Jesus rose from the dead and ascended into heaven.
