Apple is continuing its tradition of September iPhone launches, and the much-anticipated iPhone 15 series is reportedly scheduled for release on September 13. The lineup is expected to include the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max. Although Apple has kept tight-lipped about the details, numerous leaks and rumors have surfaced, shedding light on possible specifications and pricing for the upcoming handsets.
According to a report from 9to5Mac, Apple has requested mobile carriers not to grant days off to their employees on September 13 due to a significant smartphone announcement, which aligns with the company’s usual fall launch event in September. Last year, Apple unveiled the iPhone 14 series during its “Far Out” event on September 7, with pre-orders starting on September 9. If the trend continues, pre-orders for the iPhone 15 series could begin on September 15 this year.
The iPhone 15 series is rumored to introduce some exciting features, including the use of Apple’s A16 Bionic SoC for the regular models and the A17 Bionic SoC for the iPhone 15 Pro models. Furthermore, the phones are expected to come with a USB Type-C port and feature the Dynamic Island technology, currently limited to the iPhone 14 Pro models.
