Kim Nam-joon, or better known as RM, is the leader of the South Korean boy band BTS. He is a rapper, songwriter, and record producer, and has been in the music industry since 2010.
RM was born on September 12, 1994 in Ilsan, South Korea. He was the first member of BTS to be revealed to the public in 2013. He was a part of the underground rap scene before joining BTS and released a few solo tracks under the name Rap Monster.
