The Bible is clear that God has an enemy. Sin is the enemy of God and the friend of Satan. Sin is the root of all evil and it is what separates us from God. It is the cause of death, destruction, and suffering in the world. Sin is so serious that it caused Jesus Christ to leave Heaven's glory and come into the world to die as the final and complete sacrifice for sin.
