The Summa Theologica, written by St. Thomas Aquinas in the 13th century, provides a more detailed answer. According to Aquinas, angels were created instantaneously by God in a state of grace in the Empyrean Heaven at the same time when he created all the contents of the corporeal world. This means that angels were created alongside the physical world, and not before or after it.

Although angels have greater knowledge than men, they are not omniscient, as Matthew 24:36 points out. Angels are limited in their knowledge, and can only know what God has revealed to them. This means that they are not able to answer all questions, and they are not able to predict the future.

The Bible also states that angels are not immortal, and they can die. In the book of Revelation, angels are described as having wings and the ability to fly. This suggests that they are physical beings, and not just spiritual entities.

Angels have been a source of fascination for centuries, and they continue to be a source of mystery and intrigue. While we may never know the full answer to the question of who created angels, we can be sure that they were created by God, and that they serve an important purpose in his plan.
