Prince Harry is facing criticism after wearing his own four medals while presenting an award to US combat medic, Sergeant First Class Elizabeth Marks.

During the awards ceremony, Prince Harry, 39, adorned his jacket with an assortment of medals, including one received for his military service in Afghanistan, along with three others bestowed upon him by Queen Elizabeth II. However, observers noted the absence of the Coronation medal, awarded at King Charles' official coronation last May.

Royal analyst Richard FitzWilliams suggested that Prince Harry's choice not to wear the Coronation medal could be interpreted as a deliberate snub to his father and a statement of distance from the royal family, stating that "the Sussexes do nothing by chance."

Despite the criticism, during his address at the ceremony, Prince Harry focused on honoring Marks' achievements rather than discussing his own medals. However, some online critics blasted his decision, describing it as embarrassing and ridiculous, while others defended him, emphasizing his entitlement to wear the medals he earned during his service in the UK Army, including his campaigns in Afghanistan.
