Liam Gallagher has closed down rumors that he recently met with his brother Noel Gallagher, calling the rumors "fake news"

Rumors of an Oasis reunion gained pace after a number of tabloids reported that the two brothers had met at a central London hotel earlier this week. The reports indicated that Liam and Noel were spotted together at the Nobu Hotel Portman Square on February 25, reportedly with Liam's sons Lennon (25) and Gene (23). The reports added that Oasis guitarist Paul 'Bonehead' Arthurs was also with them before they all dispersed separately.

But Liam did not take long to dismiss the reports. When a fan on social media asked if he had met up with Noel in London, the singer bluntly replied: "FAKE NEWS."

He also went back at the fans asking for details about the alleged meetup, answering one sarcastically, "I did, it was lovely, we had a lovely chat and a cuddle."
