A Dublin-based food support charity is celebrating a significant cash donation from global superstar Taylor Swift. The singer's generosity followed her three sold-out shows in June at Dublin's Aviva Stadium.

Crosscare, the charity in question, received confirmation of the donation on Wednesday. This organization supports those experiencing food poverty, provides homeless services, assists asylum seekers, and offers counseling throughout Dublin.

Manager Paula Harris expressed the charity's delight during an interview on BBC Radio Ulster's Evening Extra program. She emphasized how the donation would not only provide financial support but also raise awareness about their vital services.

Demand for Crosscare's assistance is increasing across Dublin and Ireland. Harris highlighted their mission to help families and individuals facing food insecurity, explaining that their support includes providing food hampers and addressing underlying issues contributing to financial hardship.

Following her concerts, food banks in Liverpool and Cardiff also reported substantial donations from Swift, with one noting that her contribution would fund their food donations for the next year.
