Jade shared her excitement and nervousness about the release on social media, calling the song her love/hate letter to the music industry. She explained the choice of location for the video, saying, "We picked that high street because I wanted it to feel really British. It reminded me of South Shields, and although we couldn’t film up north, we found a fitting spot in London."
