The 2021 US Open champion continued her undefeated streak at the women's team event, securing a decisive 6-4, 6-4 victory over Slovakia's Viktoria Hruncakova.

With this win, the pressure shifts to Katie Boulter, Britain's top-ranked singles player, against Slovakia's Rebecca Sramkova. A victory for Boulter would guarantee Britain a spot in the final against Italy; otherwise, that will be determined by a deciding doubles match.

Probably the world's 58th-ranked player, but Raducanu had been a very good force despite missing all of last year. It is no surprise that she has been so able in Britain's campaign, her determination as unwavering as her skillset.
