Charlie Cox, the man under the mask of Daredevil, made it very clear that he is more than willing to share screen time with another kind of Marvelite: Spider-Man. Now that Marvel's Netflix shows are officially part of the grand tapestry of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, there can be nothing but hope that these two beloved heroes cross each other's paths sooner than later.

Cox expressed his excitement recently during a panel at Fan Expo Chicago. It seems the actor just couldn't contain himself over the potential now for Daredevil to team up or cross paths with other MCU heroes. He revealed, "Being in the Spider-Man movie was a huge deal. People actually recognized me more after that. It's crazy how much these comic book crossovers mean to fans, and I totally get it now.".

The actor wasted no time in stating his personal wish, like many other fans, that Matt Murdock and Peter Parker get to share the screen again as Daredevil and Spider-Man. "The idea of Daredevil and Spider-Man together is pure comic book gold. I really hope we get another chance to do it. It was so much fun," enthused Cox.

Fans will remember, of course, Daredevil's short but memorable appearance in Spider-Man: No Way Home. The Man Without Fear acted as Peter Parker's lawyer and immediate support network for the young hero. Sure, their on-screen time together was minimal, but it was just enough to get fans fervently wishing for a more substantial team-up.

Adding fuel to the fire, Cox is set to voice a Daredevil variant in the upcoming animated series Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man. That cements the argument the two characters' paths will continue to cross within the sprawling MCU multiverse.

It has also been rumored that Daredevil could act as somewhat of a mentor in the upcoming Spider-Man 4, akin to how Iron Man and Doctor Strange did previously. While these are just speculations, the idea of Cox joining the cast is no short of being very exciting.

While the fans count days to the release of Daredevil: Born Again on Disney+, due for a March 2025 premiere, the original Netflix series will definitely be a great opportunity to catch up on Matt Murdock's journey. From Vincent D'Onofrio as Kingpin to Jon Bernthal reprising the role of The Punisher and Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, the show is sure to be the most amazing addition to the MCU.

The one thing that is certain, however, is that Charlie Cox's interest in the character and his keenness to team up with Spider-Man raise fan expectations of what is in store for Daredevil within the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
