"We're really happy with the result," Slot told LFCTV after the game. "We scored some fantastic goals, but I felt we lacked control at times. United had more opportunities than I would have liked. It's a 3-0 win, but the score could have been different."

While acknowledging the positives, including team fitness and the quality goals scored during the tour, Slot emphasized that it is about having a tight backline and not giving away chances.

He noted that though the results look promising, there is need to continue working hard. Now that many players have returned from holiday, he says integrating the players in the team will be vital.
