Are Meghan and Harry Popular?
The popularity of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle has taken a dive in the UK ahead of the launch of their Netflix documentary series. According to a recent survey, only 25% of Britons view Meghan positively, making her the least popular royal family member, with Prince Andrew (7%) being the only one with less popularity.
The survey also found that Harry and Meghan’s popularity has been on a downward trend since their wedding in 2018. At the time, a third of Britons (33%) had a positive opinion of the couple, but this has now dropped to just a quarter (25%).
The survey also revealed that the majority of Britons (62%) have a negative opinion of the couple, with a further 13% saying they are indifferent. This suggests that the couple’s decision to step back from royal duties and move to the US has not gone down well with the British public.
The survey also found that the younger generation is more likely to view the couple positively, with 37% of 18-24 year olds having a positive opinion of them, compared to just 19% of those aged 55 and over.
Overall, it appears that Harry and Meghan’s popularity has taken a hit in the UK, and it remains to be seen if their Netflix documentary series will help to improve their public image.
