Tesla Inc (TSLA.O) Chief Executive Elon Musk has asked employees to “go super hardcore” to make up for production challenges early in the third quarter and “ensure a decent Q3 delivery number,” according to an internal email seen by Reuters.

“The end of quarter delivery wave is unusually high this time, as we suffered (like the whole industry) from extremely severe parts shortages earlier this quarter,” he said in the email sent on Wednesday.

He said Tesla built “a lot of cars with missing parts that needed to be added later.”

“This is the biggest wave in Tesla history,” he said, referring to its end of quarter delivery push.

Elon’s energy is a lot of that of somebody who appreciates sending messages to the entirety of his workers, which is simply to say that his genuine abilities aren’t doing anything specifically or making any sort of item or in any event, concocting enormous thoughts, yet talking and building up. I don’t think Elon sends these messages since he accepts that they will be powerful in moving his representatives to work more diligently; I think he sends them since he realizes they will get spilled to the press, and, when they do, individuals may understand it and think that Elon is truly down and dirty here: Elon against the world. Simply the sort of hyper certainty and foolishness that is the surest method to excel in this country.
